Founded in 1977 by Pete Mattson, our company has been growing steadily since its early days in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2000, the company became 100% employee owned and is now led by Steve Gundrum, President and CEO. As Board Chairman, Pete is still fully engaged in the business and busier than ever before.
Our 70+ employee-owners live all around the Bay Area and enjoy a food-centric lifestyle amid some of the best restaurant-going and wine producing regions in the world.
